In a week time I’ll be at the airport of Bordeaux (Merignac) for my Zero G Flight. This is our schedule:
8:30 to 09:15: Breakfast with all the passengers, accompanying persons and Air Zero G team
9:15 to 10:00: Briefing
Introduction of the Air Zero G team, the flight crew
Description of your flight and procedures
Questions & Answers.
10:00 to 10:30: Security check and access to Zero-G aircraft
10h30 to 11h00: Group briefing on board
And then, group picture in front of the aircraft
11:00: Embarking and aircraft door closure
11:30: Take off
It becomes serious, isn’it ?
11:30 to 13:30: Air Zero G flight!
First, you will discover Martian gravity (one parabola).
Then, you will enjoy Lunar gravity (two parabolas).
After a 5 min interruption, you will perform 12 Zero G parabolas, within 3 series of 4 parabolas. 5 min interruption will happen between series of parabolas.
14:00 to 14:45: Lunch with pilots and Air Zero G Team
14:45 to 15:30: Weightless Diploma Ceremony
15:30 to 16:30: Space Conference
Led by Jean-François Clervoy, famous European Space Agency Astronaut
An experienced photographer will take pictures and video on board. So I can enjoy the fligth and don’t have to worry about that.
